Funding and Investment Strategy Companion Part Three: Scheme investments under the new regime
18 Jun 2025
Investment considerations are a crucial part of the new regime with trustees and employers required to agree a low dependency investment allocation (LDIA) and set out how they intend to transition from the current strategy to this allocation over a certain timeframe - the ‘investment journey plan’.
In part three of XPS’s FIS Companion series, we focus on the LDIA, discussing how adherence to regulatory requirements can be achieved alongside adopting an LDIA appropriate for your scheme. We also consider the requirement of ‘high resilience’, and how this might be demonstrated, in detail.
Part four of XPS’s FIS Companion will then look at the investment journey plan in more detail alongside other elements of the overall journey plan.
