How well do fiduciary managers address pension schemes’ endgame objectives?

Following a year in which gilt yields have risen significantly and then stayed elevated, improvements in funding levels have meant that an increasing number of pension schemes are now considering their endgame strategies.  Our survey looks at how UK fiduciary managers are helping their clients reach their endgames.  We explore:

• Whether clients of fiduciary managers (FMs) have set a long-term target;
• Where a target is in place, the nature of that target;
• FMs’ capabilities to help pension schemes approaching buyout; and
• FMs’ fees as their clients’ investment strategies are de-risked.
