Investment Fund ESG Rating Review 2023

To help our clients identify whether ESG considerations are appropriately embedded within their investments, we conduct an annual review of all our clients’ funds. This year we surveyed 53 managers across 227 funds.
Our findings show that the overall number of ‘Green’ ESG ratings increased to 36% versus 24% last year. However, key areas for improvement include increasing focus on engagement and investing in tools and research capabilities to improve the availability of data and analysis.
