Our latest analysis reveals that transferring remains a popular option at retirement, particularly for those members retiring early. This is despite overall volumes of transfers continuing to fall.
Our sixth annual survey analysed over 1,000 transfers paid out of defined benefit pension schemes during the year, to help understand the likely outcomes for members. This takes the total covered by our surveys to over 14,000 transfers out of defined benefit schemes, worth over £3.7bn.
