XPS Group’s climate goals validated by Science Based Targets initiative

23 Sep 2025

XPS is proud to share that, in recognition of Zero Emissions Day on 21st September, XPS Group has had its near-term climate targets officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

This important milestone underlines our commitment to achieving net zero and ensuring our strategy delivers sustainable, profitable growth. Our validated targets span the full range of XPS Group’s business activities — including indirect emissions from our operations, employees, and value chain partners. We are aiming for a 95% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2035 (from our 2020 baseline), and a 67% reduction in Scope 3 GHG emissions per million GBP value added by the same year.

The validation from SBTi confirms that our climate goals are aligned with the latest science and reflect the scale of action required to help limit global temperature rise.

Snehal Shah (CFO and Executive sponsor of the XPS Sustainability Committee), shared: “This recognition demonstrates that our near-term target is science-based and robust. It reinforces that we’re working hard to ensure our business remains resilient, responsible, and built for the future.”

We’re committed to leading by example, driving real progress on climate action, and building a sustainable future for all.”
