XPS Pensions Group gains Menopause Friendly Accreditation

XPS Pensions Group gains Menopause Friendly Accreditation

17 Oct 2023

XPS Pensions Group - a leading independent pension consulting and administration business, employing 1600 staff across 16 UK locations - has been awarded the Menopause Friendly Accreditation. Employers are assessed by an Independent Panel and must demonstrate evidence of their effectiveness in six key areas:  culture, policies and practices, training, engagement, facilities and evaluation.

The panel highlighted that XPS Pensions Group showed a complete commitment to being Menopause Friendly and supporting all its colleagues to feel included and enabled. They also highlighted XPS Pension Group’s efforts to normalise the conversation around menopause and for its rollout of training for all line managers across its teams and for establishing support groups.

Ben Bramhall, Co-CEO at XPS Pensions Group said: “We are delighted to have achieved accreditation as a menopause friendly employer. Inclusion is a key priority for XPS and our commitment to supporting employees experiencing menopause symptoms is one example of the steps we’re taking to ensure everyone at XPS feels included and enabled.”

Deborah Garlick, founder of Henpicked: Menopause in the Workplace said: “I would like to congratulate XPS and particularly welcome their focus on normalising the conversation as we know the best outcomes start with an open discussion. XPS has also shown that by treating people with empathy, listening to their needs and putting action plans in place around this makes such a huge difference to making an organisation truly menopause friendly.”

The Menopause Friendly Accreditation was established in April 2021 by Henpicked: Menopause in the Workplace to recognise high standards and proven practices that embrace menopause in the workplace.
