XPS Pensions Group promotes six new partners

XPS Pensions Group has promoted six new partners across its actuarial, pensions, investment, and administration businesses. They are based across the UK in locations including Birmingham, Guildford, London, Manchester, and Reading.  

The new partners are: Helen Ross, Head of Member Options; Julie Moores, Deputy Head of Compliance; Jordan Harrison, Head of Investment (Birmingham); Matthew Plail, Head of Member Analytics; Mel Collins, Regional Operations Manager; and Vicky Mullins, Head of GMP Equalisation.

Helen Ross is Head of Member Options for XPS and leads research into member outcomes and the implementation of member option strategies. Helen also heads XPS’ pensions team in our Birmingham Office.

Julie Moores leads the XPS’ Compliance function on regulatory and compliance matters, supporting the range of businesses across the XPS Pensions Group.

Jordan Harrison leads XPS’ Investment team in Birmingham providing strategic investment advice to pension scheme trustees and corporates.

Matthew Plail, Head of Member Analytics leads XPS’ proposition development to help trustees and sponsors improve their understanding of their scheme membership. Matthew is also a Scheme Actuary and corporate actuary.

Mel Collins is a Regional Operations Manager and is responsible for 180 staff, managing DB pension administration teams in Wokingham, Reading and Belfast, as well as leading XPS Administration’s Accounts and Cashiering teams. 

Vicky Mullins is an actuary and XPS’ head of GMP equalisation. She designed XPS’ approach to GMP equalisation and leads a specialist team of over 40 people who have delivered on over 60 projects and have a further 100 in progress.

These appointments became effective on April 1st, 2021.
