TPR launches consultation on the new DB funding code and Fast Track

The DB funding code, once finalised, will set out TPR’s interpretation of how trustees can comply with upcoming changes to legislative requirements brought about by the Pension Schemes Act 2021.
There are also more details of TPR’s proposed regulatory approach, including the use of Fast Track as a filter for TPR’s assessment of valuations.
The closing date for consultation responses is 24 March 2023, and the changes will impact on all DB scheme valuations, starting with valuations carried out from 1 October 2023.
